Below is a list of social issues and how they affect my community:
Health - Health is a big problem not only in my community but in the US in general. People are constantly eating fast food and whatever is convenient for them instead of what is healthy.
Education - The education in my community is probably just average. When compared to other countries the education around here is very minimal and schools become easier and easier as time goes on.
Environment - The environment is at an all time low. The way we have treated the environment over the last century or so is pathetic. We constantly only think about ourselves and what makes our lives more entertaining or more convenient, and never think about what we are doing to the environment.
On to my real project

I like your reasons and examples. They make sense and show just how real these problems are currently. A lot of people choose not to see what is actually happening with the world and live in their own "bubble" which is good in a way but in the end can cause major problems when they realize the world is not as perfect or even Utopic as they want it to be.
